Vermont Fly Fishing Guide Services
Once again I was able to find a great resource that can help fishermen (and women) find guide services that can make a day on the lake really worthwhile. Vermont fly fishing enthusiasts may already know about this, but there is a website called VOGA that has roughly 13 different guides listed with detailed information. Each guide that is listed at VOGA has all the information that an interested party would need. The name, specialty, address, phone number, email address, website address, location, and covered areas are included. A select few also have credentials listed, which is always nice to know about. VOGA, the Vermont Outdoor Guide Association, also has detailed information about fly fishing shops in the area as well as lodging accommodations for visitors. There is even a link that lets visitors purchase a fishing permit online. I found it rather interesting that some of the guides listed on VOGA also specialize in things like canoeing, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and backcountry skiing. These versatile professionals apparently know how to show someone an adventurous time in Vermont. For more information about Vermont fly fishing guides and services check out www.voga.org.
